A hardy team of villagers defied storm Dennis to complete a key stage of tree planting at Windy Spire Pocket Park at the weekend. This followed on from clearing up after storm Ciara brought down an old tree in the park. Thank you to all who helped.

Great news. Last evening the Policy and Resources Committee of East Northamptonshire Council approved a £50,000 Community Facilities Fund grant to Glapthorn Parish Council for its playing field project.

GLAPTHORN COMMUNITY LITTER PICK
5th, 6th, 7th APRIL 2019
The Annual Glapthorn Litter Pick will take place over the weekend 5th,6th and 7th April.
The aim is to clear all the road verges in the Parish of rubbish and discarded items.
Black bags, picker sticks, hi viz jackets and gloves will be provided.

At its meeting held on 17th January 2019 the Parish Council set the Precept for 2019-20 at £12,300 and published the budget for the same period. The budget with notes mat be read/downloaded from this website.
